WEDDING PLANNER IN PRAGUE

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

From your first ideas to your wedding day, find answers to the questions couples ask most often.

How much does a wedding in Prague cost?

It depends on the guest count, venue and level of suppliers. For a well-produced wedding at a strong venue, I recommend starting with a realistic budget of around CZK 500,000. Weddings with a stronger focus on design, high-quality gastronomy and experienced suppliers most often fall around CZK 700,000–2,000,000 and above.

I help you set the budget around your actual priorities and explain where it makes sense to invest.

How much does a wedding planner in Prague cost?

It depends on the scope and complexity of the wedding. For full-service planning and production, fees are typically in the higher tens of thousands of Czech crowns. For weddings with extensive design, supplier management and full project leadership, my planning fee is most often around CZK 100,000–150,000.

Every proposal is tailored to the wedding rather than based on a one-size-fits-all package.

What does wedding coordination include?

Coordination means managing the wedding day: supplier communication, timeline management, guest flow and unexpected situations.

For me, it starts earlier. Because I know the planning and the concept, I can coordinate the day in a way that protects not only the schedule, but also the design and atmosphere.

How does working with you start?

We start with a call. I want to understand your wedding, your priorities, your guest list, your location and your budget. From there, I can tell you honestly what kind of support makes sense.

Do you work with couples who live abroad?

Yes. I regularly work with couples who live outside the Czech Republic, including fully international and destination weddings.

The planning can be handled largely online. I can arrange venue research and visits, supplier communication, documents, tastings and logistics, and prepare videos or other material when you cannot be in Prague.

Do we need to travel to Prague before the wedding?

Not necessarily. The number of visits depends on the type of ceremony and how much you want to experience in person. We can handle a large part of the planning remotely and use your visits efficiently for key decisions.

Can you help with legal paperwork and translations?

Yes. For civil ceremonies, I can help coordinate the required administration, communication with the registry office and translations or certification of documents where needed. The exact requirements depend on your nationality and ceremony type.

What documents do we need to get legally married in the Czech Republic?

Requirements depend on your nationality, but most foreign couples need a valid passport, a birth certificate, and proof of no impediment to marriage (sometimes called a certificate of no impediment or affidavit) from their home country. Depending on your country, this may also need an apostille or official translation into Czech.

I go through the exact requirements for your nationality with you and coordinate the registry office side of the process, so nothing gets missed.

How do you choose a wedding venue?

I look at more than the photographs. Capacity, catering, supplier access, logistics, accommodation, sound restrictions, weather options and budget all matter.

I prepare several options, explain the practical differences and help you choose a place that works for the wedding you actually want to have.

Do you plan luxury and design-focused weddings?

Yes — but I do not define luxury by how much is added.

For me, quality comes from the right setting, good suppliers, strong gastronomy, thoughtful design, excellent service and attention to detail. The result can feel refined without becoming excessive.

Can we be involved in the planning?

Absolutely. Some couples want to design every detail. Others want clear direction and a professional to take most of the decisions off their plate.

I adapt to the way you want to work. You can be as involved as you want without having to become the project manager.
